While we are not a fan of calling children "kids", Dr. Sagan is right! Every child is born with a profound sense of wonder to his or her outside world! There are no greater natural scientists and engineers than young children, even as infants and toddlers! The purpose of our STEM/STEAM program is to capture these fragile sparks of curiosity and wonder, while still in an organic state, and foster them to ignite new methods of problem solving and learning that even the youngest Early Explorer can use as a foundation for future success!
The research shows that the earlier we guide and support our children's wonder about the world, the more successful they are in all areas of learning later on in their lives.
In our prepared environment, our caring, loving, and nurturing teachers provide a safe and secure atmosphere that allows each child to develop at their own pace. Having the children learn through the joys of play, allows the child to learn in such a manner that is both fun for the child, and educational.
We do not believe in traditional elementary techniques at this level of development. Our unique environment at Early Explorers provides the children with necessary abilities and techniques that can allow them to excel as they build upon their natural inclinations to grow, explore, and discover!
